Book Bonanza

Heathcliff and Catherine's Ghost

Original drawing, which I like a little better than the colored version...

From Wuthering Heights: Heathcliff claws desperately at Catherine's grave to hold her one more time, when he hears a sighing sound that he imagines to be her ghost. This book is ridiculously gothic and full of horrible people and I love it.

Mal and Alina in the woods

And more art from Shadow and Bone: Mal marvels at Alina's unusual light-summoning powers.

A comics challenge, as seen here: http://www.hourlycomic.com/content/hourlycomicday

I like this challenge a lot (it forces me to draw ALLLL DAYYY) but I sure wish my sketchbook scanned better :/

I Was a Teenage Book Junkie

I read a fair amount of YA fiction. Consequently, I draw a bunch of YA fiction fanart. Recently I read the lovely fantasy Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. Fantasy is awesome, you guys. So many fur-trimmed capes.

Oh, you know

Oh hello blog thing, I missed you!
Here are some faces

Cookie Insecurity

I worry about my cooking an awful lot. My brother seems to think it's OK though?

Puppies and Rainbows and Unicorns

Whenever you are sad, get out a pack of crayons and think of puppies, rainbows, and unicorns.

I am Not Intimidating

This will probably be the last goose comic, as we're all pretty much fed up with them by now.

He is Very Expensive to Feed

If YOU were a princess, wouldn't you want a pet dragon?
I haven't been feeling like makin' comics lately, so more coloring. I kinda wish I'd used just the quill pen to outline this, instead of trying to fix it with a brown Micron pen. Oh well. At least the dragon is cute! Sort of...

Amateur Stand-up Night

I can't seem to draw anything of consequence today, so here's a collection of the delightful things I've heard at work. Apparently gallery attendants are a great test audience.
